Class | Registration opens Monday, September 28, 2026 10:00 AM EDT

This class takes a deep dive into historic photos dating back to the 1860s to review the construction of the eight locks built on the St. Mary’s River linking Lake Superior with the lower Great Lakes. In addition to sharing construction details, Briggs puts them into the context of world and U.S. events. This class also includes an update on the 9th navigation lock currently being built.
