The film engages the palpable and non-stop estrangement between son and father, Downey and Duvall, as Downey comes home for his mother’s funeral and ends up defending his father on a murder charge. mark wenzel has been a member of the Wayne State University Philosophy Department since 1998. He teaches courses in Global Ethics, Contemporary Moral Issues, Feminist Philosophy, Philosophy of Arts. He developed a course in Classical Indian Philosophy, which was offered Fall 2023. mark has twice taught classes in Feminist Philosophy at the Huron Valley Women’s Prison. In the Fall of 2025, Wayne State University launched its own College in Prison Program at Macomb Correctional Facility.
