Joel Seidman
Joel C. Seidman, M.D. graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1973 before completing five years of postgraduate training in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine at the University of Michigan Affiliated Hospitals. From 1978-2013, he practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine at William Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak. Seidman holds clinical professorial appointments at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. During his first year in practice, he exclusively treated patients with active tuberculosis, managing 47 new cases.
