A Mock Trial/Senate Hearing
Should the United States Abolish the Electoral College?

This popular event puts you in the United States Senate! Senators will call expert witnesses to present testimony for full Senate consideration to either abolish or maintain the Electoral College. After the case has been presented, you-the Senate, will vote on the outcome.

The SOAR Mock Trial/Hearing provides participants with a first-hand experience to understand and participate in the exploration of some of our nation’s most notable cases and governance questions, the legal rights and obligations of the judicial system and the most important questions of our day.
