Ever wonder how your on-line packages suddenly appear on your doorstep? Well, a trip to Pontiac’s Amazon Fulfillment Center will be an eye-opening, high-tech experience where you will watch specialized robots glide across the floor, lifting, and transporting pods of inventory weighing up to 1,500 pounds into the hands of human workers. Learn how coding and robotics combine to deliver merchandise efficiently coast to coast.

Tour lasts 60 minutes and requires walking up to a mile and possibly walking up one flight of stairs. You must wear closed-toe shoes. (Sneakers are good). Long hair must be pulled  back if beyond shoulder length.  No filming or photography allowed. No bags, purses, or backpacks allowed. A photo id is required for this trip to this new robotic reality.
