S26478 The Benefits of Strength Training for Life's Journey

Class | Registration opens Monday, March 16, 2026 10:00 AM EDT

Join Vivo CEO Eric Levitan and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Katie Starr for a 60-minute webinar on maintaining strength as we age. Participants will learn how muscle loss, which begins around age 30 and accelerates after 60, affects balance, mobility, bone density, and independence—and how strength training can reverse these effects. This dynamic session covers science-backed strategies to safely start and maintain a strength program, with a short demonstration and time for Q&A. Discover how building strength supports better health, sharper cognition, and a higher quality of life.

Levitan, Eric
Eric Levitan

Eric Levitan is the founder and CEO of Vivo. He brings more than 25 years of executive leadership in the technology sector to the position. Levitan witnessed the decline of his parents’ health and quality of life as they got older and was inspired to better understand the aging process in order to help them. From this, Vivo was born; to create awareness and a safe, engaging, and impactful program to guide older adults to a safer and healthier life.
