S2627 The World That The United States Created After World War II
Class | Registration opens Monday, March 16, 2026 10:00 AM EDT
In response to perceived mistakes after World War I and the threat from Soviet Russia, the United States implemented a series of bipartisan policies that helped create one of the most prosperous and peaceful eras in human history. This class explores that period of globalization, highlighting the economic growth, social progress, and relative peace experienced by most Americans. Participants will also examine how many of these achievements have been reversed in recent decades, often across party lines, and consider the lessons this history holds for our present and future.
