Join Robin Frisch-Gleason for an in-depth overview of global climate change—its science, causes, and the far-reaching impacts on our planet. From more frequent hurricanes and wildfires to droughts and rising sea levels, this class will examine the environmental consequences of a warming world. Frisch-Gleason will discuss recent environmental setbacks due to policy changes by the U.S. government but will share promising international decarbonization actions and innovations from around the world.

Robin Frisch-Gleason

Robin Frisch-Gleason is a Geologist and Educator. For her Master's Degree in Geology, she did field work in Antarctica where she discovered her passion for the polar regions of the earth. Throughout her geology career, and later as an educator, Robin became committed to helping others to understand the polar regions and climate change, which is greatly impacting the planet. Robin now works as a lecturer and naturalist on board cruise ships and is thrilled to share her knowledge and awe about our oceans.
