F2539 The Fabulous 40s
Class | Registration opens Monday, September 15, 2025 10:00 AM EDT
The music of the early 40s was focused predominately on Big Bands or Swing. But there were a lot of other songs being written and sung or played as well. With this presentation we’re going to hear a combination of both pop and swing/big band, like Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Harry James; and vocalists like The Andrews Sisters, Eddie Arnold, and The Mills Brothers, finishing it off with the great International Sweethearts of Rhythm.
