Carol Chadwick
Dr. Carol S. Chadwick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. A west-sider, she attended Cooley High School and Wayne State University. There she received an MA in American Literature and a combined PhD from the colleges of Education and Liberal Arts in reading cognition and Literary Criticism. For 38 years, she was a Professor of English at Wayne County Community College and has written and lectured widely on Nancy Drew and serialized detective fiction. She is published in The Strand Magazine, the Detroit Free Press, and a collection of essays including “Public Voices”, “Private Lives”, and “Jump at the Sun.” Today she is still writing and is a member of Detroit Working Writers.
