Learn how this sacred and strategic city became central to world history, and what mysteries still remain beneath its stones.

Michael Pytlik

Director of Judaic Studies at Oakland University(OU), Michael Pytlik teaches The Archaeology of Israel, God, and Man in Judaism; Written Tradition of Judaism; Introduction to Judaism; and Monotheistic Mysticism. Since 2009, he has organized and led groups of OU students to Israel for a tour and excavation experience. Pytlik is also the current faculty adviser for the Jewish Student Organization on campus. He holds a Doctor of Science in Jewish Studies from Spertus.
