This popular event puts you in the jury box! Expert witnesses and attorneys will present their cases for either convicting President Harry Truman of war crimes for dropping the bomb, or acquitting him for a justifiable act during a world conflict. After the case has been presented, you-the jury, will vote on the outcome.
The SOAR Mock Trial provides participants with a first-hand experience to understand and participate in the exploration of some of our nation’s most notable cases, the legal rights and obligations of the judicial system and the most important questions of our day.
