• Remembering a Legacy: Noted journalist, author and popular SOAR speaker Jack Lessenberry will pay tribute to the late Robert Sedler. Professor Sedler was a Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus at Wayne State University, argued and won cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and was a frequent lecturer and supporter of SOAR
• Protecting Our Future: Former State Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly will present a timely discussion on the Constitution and preserving the freedoms we hold dear. She was President of the Michigan State Board of Education, named “Woman of the Year” by the Michigan Woman’s Weekly, and is on the Wayne State Board of Directors, among the many honors she has attained.
