Class | Registration opens Monday, March 10, 2025 10:00 AM EST

This lecture will explore American involvement in Afghanistan, a history which has entered its third generation. From the advent of U.S. support for Afghan fighters in 1979 against the Soviet army to the 2021 withdrawal of forces, American foreign policy in Afghanistan has spanned the Cold War, the attacks and aftermath of 9/11, and the post-Global War on Terror.
