Through discussion, activities, and multimedia resources, participants will explore systemic racism’s impact, learn strategies to promote equity, and engage in practices of racial healing. The session emphasizes actionable steps for individuals and organizations to create more inclusive, equitable, and just environments.

Jay B. Marks, Ph.D. is a widely-respected educator with over 30 years experience in the field of education. He has served as a classroom teacher for 17 years, as well as an educational consultant in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion on the local and national level. He is highly sought after for his work in the areas of racial and social justice. In addition to his work as a consultant, he also serves an Intermittent Lecturer at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in the School of Education. |
