This course will introduce you to the basics of creating a stained glass masterpiece of your very own! Using the copper foil method, the most versatile of stained glass methods, you will leave the class with up to three completed projects. A $30 fee is payable to the instructor to cover all glass needed for your course. Please register early and see Supply List for basic tools that you will need.

  • Stained Glass - Beginner Class
  • Glass cutter, copper foil ¼ “, 80-100 watt soldering iron, solder 60/40 or 50/50, breaker/grazer pliers, running pliers, ruler, (helpful if the ruler has a background that won’t slip), liquid flux (not flux brush), safety glasses, scythe stone, kem-pro glass polish, L-square, work gloves (tight fitting), black permanent market, poster board, fine steel wool or Brillo pad, newspaper, two old towels, Exacto knife, extension cord (at least 12 feet), small plastic bowl with lid and a pair scissors. These items are available through online order or at The Stained Glass Gallery in New Albany. Safety glasses and Exacto knife can be found at most Dollar Tree stores.
