October 8th, 1862. The smoke is clearing the field, victory has been won but at a cost. Fast forward 155 years. Join local author Bryan Bush as he shares spectral stories of the departed spirits haunting many of the battlefields in the Western Theater. Visualize the ghosts that travel Merchants Row or roam the battlefields of Perryville, Shaker Village, Shiloh TN, and Chickamauga GA. This lecture promises to be a hauntingly good time.

  • Street parking is available by metered parking on Mohamed Ali, First Street, and Chestnut Street. Paid parking is also available in the YMCA Garage located on Second Street between Chestnut Street and Mohamed Ali. Enter the building on First Street at the Ahrens Educational Resources entrance. Join Bryan in room 105 located on the first floor.

Bryan Bush is a native of Louisville, holding a Master of Arts in Western Civilization History with a particular interest in the Civil War. A prolific author, Bryan has published over 13 titles and is a member of many Civil War historical preservation societies and round tables. he is currently a board member for the Louisville Historical Leauge and the official Civil War tour guide for Cave Hill Cemetary.
