IST Trailblazer Soccer Team is for students in Grades: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. It will practice & compete during Term 3 only on Wednesday.
Time: Grades 4 & 5: 3:45 - 5 p.m.
Grades 6, 7, 8: 4:15-5:30pm
Coach: Division 1: Zollner Division 2: Welch
MYP Team members will be transported from school to PYP for practice on our fields after school on practice days. Previous soccer experience is required for player safety. Registration for Trailblazer Soccer is for Term 3.
Fresh on the heels of Trailblazer Soccer's championship season last year, IST is excited to one again have our Trailblazers competing in the highly competitive Austin Private School Association season. Players will work to develop their individual skills while coming together as a team. They'll learn the importance of attendance, dedication, and hard work. Previous soccer experience is required for the safety of all team members.
Trailblazer Soccer is comprised of two teams: the Division 2 (Grades 4-5) and the Division 1 (Grades 6-8). Players will be placed in teams at the coach's discretion, so there may be students from these grades on either team. Younger students may be eligible depending on the individual player's experience and skills. Both teams will practice together. Please note that for APSA league games, coaches may prioritize playing time for players that are able to compete safely and competitively, given the physical size and ability of our competition. Practices will be held at International School of Texas, located on Hudson Bend Rd in Austin. .
