The 2026 midterm elections provide an ideal opportunity to explore how our democratic system functions, the roles citizens play in the electoral process and what elections results may mean for New Hampshire and the nation. This four-part series brings together respected organizations and experienced presenters to provide a nonpartisan examination of the election process before and after New Hampshire voters head to the polls. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of election integrity, informed civic engagement, and the broader political landscape shaped by the midterm elections.

Following the midterm elections, join Professor Boyer as he provides a thoughtful review of the results, examining voter trends, key races, and the potential implications for New Hampshire and the nation.
Eric Boyer
A professor in the School of Business & Social Sciences at Colby-Sawyer College since 2008, Professor Boyer earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He formerly served as a lecturer at the University of Minnesota and as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Saint Thomas University. His areas of expertise include American studies, government, history, philosophy and violence. Among his research interests are political theory and comparative politics.
