Working in the studio is often isolating – Cohort Intensive offers a support system with structured guidance, feedback and dialogue. This course is designed for postgraduate artists who are developing a body of work in their studios, finding their way and ready to interact with online peers. This class is ideal for alumni of the Master Certificate Program or independent artists at the emerging or mid-career level.

This class meets every other week, for a total of 6 weeks during the course of the 10-week term and is guided by a WSS instructor and visual artist Marie B Gauthiez. Using prompts, discussions, articles and the work of Susan Jahoda and Caroline Woodward in their "Making and Being" book, special emphasis will be placed on the identification of subjects for independent research and possible undertakings for continued growth. Aspects from which to consider analysis can include conceptual, skill-based, technical and formal visual.
