Sculpture: Surface Tension with Lauren Crawford

Class | Available

This sculpture course examines the surface as a site of investigation rather than decoration. Through casting, material experimentation, and installation, students will study how surfaces record history, mediate perception, and communicate cultural values. Combining observation, research, and studio practice, students will develop an independent body of work that considers how materials reveal, conceal, and transform our understanding of the world.

  • Required for all certificate students.

Please note the date change: Class runs from October 1 - December 10.

  • Your instructor has provided a list of materials required to participate fully in this class.

If you have any questions about specifics or what is needed week-to-week, please reach out to your instructor via the email in your confirmation letter.
