Introduction to Screen Printing is a six-week course followed by an optional 4-weeks of open screenprinting during which students will learn the basics of screen printing, from preparing their screens to photographic stencils. Students will gain a thorough understanding of relevant techniques and vocabulary. No previous screen printing experience is required. Some moderate computer and design skills are required for preparing digital artwork for screen printing. Students should be comfortable working with image files and Adobe software. Guidance will be provided throughout the process.
