Acrylic Painting Part III with Taylor Sizemore
Class | Registration opens 3/2/2026 12:00 AM EST
Expand your acrylic practice in this 10-week introduction/beginner-intermediate course designed for painters ready to deepen their understanding of color, composition, and mark-making. (Must have strong drawing foundations*). Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and independent studio time, students will explore intermediate color theory and mixing, compositional decision-making, and variety of mark and line qualities. The class emphasizes expressive mark making, texture, and the use of various acrylic techniques on both paper and canvas. Students will strengthen critique and discussion skills while engaging with a supportive community of painters. Individual feedback and group dialogue foster growth, experimentation, and a more personal painting language. The third and final section of this class we will focus on The Portrait.
