The Human Condition: Kiefer with Reem Bassous

Class | Available

In this iteration of The Human Condition, students will take a deep dive into the work and process of Anselm Kiefer. The goal is not to copy the artwork, but rather to think through some of the concepts that he employs, and to find an entry point into personal application. This class will engage in extensive experimentation with non-traditional media, and will also encourage collaboration with nature.

This class is for advanced students who have a thorough understanding of the formal elements and are ready for a deeper conceptual challenge.
