Introduction to Drawing B with Rachael Bohlander

Class | Available

This is an introductory course designed for beginners who have had minimal experience with drawing. This class is the second in three introductory classes. While it covers basic techniques and vocabulary, it also builds on the first introductory class. Students will practice a range of exercises which will arm them with the necessary knowledge to take drawing a step further and make it more personal. Process as a means not to an end but as an end itself will be a basis by which this class is taught.

Individual as well as group critiques and discussions will be conducted. By the end of this class and after serious completion of class work and assignments, students should be able to have an expanded drawing vocabulary, strong technical ability which would enable them to proceed to the next level of drawing.

Who this class is for:

Introduction to Drawing, A, B, & C each build on each other conceptually and are required to fulfill the Foundation Certificate Program requirements. However they can be taken interchangeably, in any order, as your schedule permits. Students with no prior experience with drawing are able to register for this class. Exercises are designed to accommodate a range of students, from beginners to more experienced students.
