Students will learn fundamental drawing techniques to connect their eye and mind with their hand. The course will focus on recognizing and creating form, tone, composition, positive and negative space, contours, measuring proportions, wet-and-dry mediums, and mark making through a perceptual, and conceptual approach. With an understanding of these fundamentals, students will be able to create drawings that have emotion and a presence.
This is an all-levels course that will focus on the fundamentals of drawing and mark making.
