Introduction to Drypoint: Line, Light, Form, and Space with Jorge Vara Hernandez

In this course, students will learn the process of creating a Drypoint print using traditional materials. Instruction will cover how to prepare and ink copper plates, use an intaglio printing press, create a print without the use of a ground or acid to etch the plate, and Chine Collé. Additionally, we will explore the expressive potential of “line,” “light,” “form,” and “space.”
All levels are welcome, while some drawing experience is recommended it is not required.
