Online Open Life Figure Drawing at WSS!
Mondays, 7-9 pm
Most sessions are figure, models will be clothed to conform with Zoom's terms of service.
Join WSS and artists from all over the world on Monday evenings for two hours of exciting online figure drawing with an experienced, professional model via Zoom in a monitored but non-instructed session.
Generally, each session includes a series of 2, 5, and 10-minute poses in the first hour and one long pose, with breaks for the model, in the second hour. We alternate session types throughout the month including at least one "special session" which can be a portrait pose or a theme with special props, depending on the models' preference.
Sessions are open to the public and are for artists of all ages and levels, from any location.
You do not need to be enrolled in classes at WSS to attend.
Registration for each week is required in order to receive access to the Zoom link in your confirmation letter. You may register as late as 6:50 pm on each Monday. Please make sure to check your spam folder and inbox tabs for your confirmation letter.
- Important Protocols and Etiquette for Zoom-based Figure Drawing Sessions: Our models are professional, this is their livelihood, and we trust that all participants will honor this protocol.
- Please mute yourself while the model is posing;
- No screenshots or photographs may be taken at any time during a session unless the model explicitly allows it. If permission is granted there is an additional charge for each screenshot to be paid directly to the model. Payment amount and method will be listed in the chat by the model on request;
- Recording is prohibited.
