Join us for an online version of the Labor Studies certificate Collective Bargaining class. This class will meet for 3 consecutive Wednesdays on January 13, 20, and 27 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm CST. This will count toward your Labor Studies certificate.

The class addresses the legal obligations to bargain, mandatory and permissible subjects of bargaining, types of bargaining relationships, styles of bargaining, analyzing proposals, costing out a contract, developing a bargaining proposal, practicing good table behavior, negotiating skills, and more.

  • Registrations are per-individual, and are not to be shared. By registering for this class you agree not to share the Zoom link with anyone else. All 3 sessions required for certificate.

Prof. Bruno is Director of the Labor Education Program and a Professor of Labor and Employment, as well as the director of the Project for Middle Class Renewal in the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois, Urban-Champaign.  In addition to publishing numerous scholarly articles on a diverse range of labor relations subjects, Professor Bruno has also co-authored numerous research reports on labor unions, workplace practices and labor and employment policy topics.
