Join us for an online version of the Labor Studies certificate Introduction to Employment and Labor Laws class.
This class will meet for 3 consecutive Wednesdays on November 4, 11, and 18 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm CST. This will count toward your Labor Studies certificate.
The class covers the limits of U.S. employment laws, labor law for union organizing, strikes, work-to-rule, contract campaigns, the legal rights of union stewards, and the legal rights of union members.
- Registrations are per-individual, and are not to be shared. By registering for this class you agree not to share the Zoom link with anyone else. All 3 sessions required for certificate.
Steven Ashby
Prof. Ashby is a full clinical professor, with a Ph.D. in U.S. History from the University of Chicago, who has been teaching at the School of Labor and Employment Relations since 2007.
