Greg’s demo will focus on creating quiet, sensitive paintings of flowing water in the landscape. Using a limited palette to create an effective underpainting, he will explore techniques for capturing a stream’s broken yet reflective surface, the earth and stones visible beneath the water, and surrounding elements such as foliage. He will expose you to the works of artists such as George Ames Aldrich, Lucie Hartrath, and Jess Hobby for inspiration.
