Through building, problem solving, and teamwork, our students will learn basic concepts of Engineering as well as strengthening communication and teamwork skills.

This class will be a mix of fun, take-home science projects (Catapults, lava lamps) as well as longer, team oriented projects (how can we build the tallest, freestanding structure with only spaghetti and marshmallows?).

By the end of the semester, students will have taken home projects, as well as an understanding of the design thought process and of all the components that go into being an engineer.
