Showstoppers is an after-school musical theater class provided by Greenwich House Music School for ages 8-11 facilitated by Ars Nova teaching artist, Ellen Winter and choreographer/dancer Traci Lee. Over the course of 12 weeks, our theater faculty will facilitate activities geared towards singing, dance, and songwriting. Every class will begin with a physical and vocal warm up followed by structured, fun, collaborative exploration of musical theater, both traditional and contemporary. This class will meet in person with a cap of 10 students at the Greenwich House Theater, 27 Barrow St, our large off-Broadway theater venue. Due to COVID concerns, all students and faculty will wear masks and the theater has been outfitted with 4 HEPA air purifier filters.
