The goal of Ballet 2 is to impart solid fundamentals of Classical Ballet. Class will focus on Ballet technique, proper body alignment, Ballet terminology and musicality. Students will be introduced to elementary barre and center work, and will be able to memorize choreography. Please note that students may be placed in class based on their ability instead of their age. All students must bring ballet shoes and leotards; gear details will be given when registration is completed. Class is 45 minutes.

  • Please note that some students may be placed into classes based on ability instead of age.
  • If a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, GHMS will notify parents one week in advance of the beginning of class.
  • Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all students must wear masks.
  • Class size is limited to 10 students.
  • Ballet I, II and III have been combined and meet Wed 4-4:45pm.
  • Girls should wear a ballet leotard, pink footed tights, and pink ballet slippers. Students with long hair should put their hair into a traditional ballet bun at the crown of the head. Short hair should be clipped away from the face.
  • Boys should wear a white fitted shirt, black shorts or tights and black slippers.
