The overall emphasis of Pre-Ballet is on having fun while learning coordination, balance, rhythm, musical counting, self-confidence, muscle isolation and development, taking turns and following directions. The instructor uses games, music, and mime to teach balance, basic Ballet steps and basic Ballet terminology in a supportive and supervised environment. This class incorporates the use of props such as balls, scarves, and hoops. Please note that students may be placed in class based on their ability instead of their age. All students must bring ballet shoes and leotards; gear details will be given when registration is completed. Class is 45 minutes.
