In Art II, children explore their creativity and imagination through color, pattern, and texture. Students will use stories and life experiences as inspiration for a variety of art projects involving drawing, painting, printing, sculpture, and more. Children will develop their relationship with self expression and learn to add meaning and purpose to their pieces of art while having fun.

  • If a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, GHMS will notify parents one week in advance of the beginning of class.
Dirks, Suzanne

Suzanne Dirks grew up and still resides in Greenwich Village. She attended Greenwich House Music School for many years as a child and went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, as a Fibers major. She brings her passion for creating art with unique materials to Art 1 and Art 2 at Greenwich House.
