This course will instruct the student to paint a landscape like an Impressionist, using color and the sense of light to subjectively describe their subjects. Special techniques will be demonstrated in all media to help everyone achieve a painting in the manner of Monet, Renoir or Pissarro. Supplies not included.

  • Teens 15+ welcome.
  • Color:  cad. Red, orange, yellow.  Thalo yellow green, Thalo green deep shade and thalo blue.  Cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, yellow ochre, magenta and alizerin crimson.  Plus plenty of white.

    A support to paint on like canvas or board.

    Brushes:  filbert style bristle size 2,4,6.

    Odorless turp and linseed oil, palette knife, palette to paint on.  Bring a good photo to paint from.
