Students interested in wheel-throwing or hand-building will focus on their own set of ideas. Beginners will learn slab building, coiling, pinching and working with texture as well as the basics of wheel throwing. Demos will vary from class to class depending on the interests of the students.

  • Ceramic class fees include one bag of clay. Additional bags may be purchased from the instructor during class.

    Please bring a pottery tool kit, which includes a sponge, a wood rib, at least one ribbon loop tool, a metal needle tool, a wood modeling tool, a metal scraper rib and a cutting wire, see link below for one of many available kits.
