Erlanger Baptist Whiz Kids program is a faith-based after-school literacy program in partnership with City Gospel Mission to provide 1:1 tutoring to financially under-resourced elementary school youth in 2nd through 5th grades who are currently reading below grade level.

Whiz Kids is focused on helping your child grow academically, as well as in all areas of their life. The program will consist of structured, one-to-one reading-focused tutoring, 30 minutes of Jesus time (stories/activities taught from the Bible) and a snack. Your child will be paired with a committed, caring and supportive adult who will encourage them through the school year.

The tutoring program will take place:
Location: Erlanger Baptist Church, 116 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018
Mondays from 5:45pm-7:30pm (if school is closed, we will not meet)
Start Date: October 16, 2023
End Date: May 6, 2024

If you choose to register your child for Whiz Kids Tutoring, the commitment to the program is for the whole school year. We request families to commit to student participation each week, that way your child will get the most benefit from Whiz Kids.
