**PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW PRIOR TO BEGINNING REGISTRATION**

Through Whiz Kids Tutoring, City Gospel Mission, in partnership with Eastside Christian Church, provides 1:1 literacy tutoring to financially under-resourced elementary school youth grades 1st thru 5th who are currently reading below grade level. As program capacity is limited, based on the program description above, if you feel your child does not meet the criteria described and you are interested in your child participating, please contact Bev Lindman @ 513-720-3040, prior to completing this registration.

We are pleased to invite your child to participate in Whiz Kids. Whiz Kids is focused on helping your child grow academically, as well as learning about God's love. Hearing Bible stories and talking about Jesus is also part of the program. Tutoring will take place Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm, at Eastside Christian Church. We will begin on November 9th, 2022 and finish on April 26th, 2022.

Tutors are trained volunteers from Eastside Christian Church and the community. They complete a background security check using an accredited screening program. Sterling Volunteers, to ensure the safety of the children. Each child has their own tutor, but we all meet in one large group.

If you choose to register your child for Whiz Kids Tutoring, the commitment to the program is for the whole school year. We need families to commit to student participation, that wat they get the most benefit from Whiz Kids.

In order to best help your child, you also agree to give your child's school permission to discuss their grades, scores, and progress with Whiz Kids. This will be kept confidential.
