Prusan, Jody

With 25 years of acting experience, extensive involvement with such distinguished companies as HB Ensemble, Urban Stages, LEAP, ENACT, Primary Stages, Stage Door Manor, and Professional Children's School and hands-on experience directing the theater departments of organizations like Harlem School of the Arts, Jody Prusan has a uniquely multi-faceted perspective of the theater business. She is now applying her knowledge of and passion for the theater to the creation of her new theatrical management company, Connecting Talent Company. Her work as an actor, as a longtime member of SAG, AFTRA, and AEA and her recent association with the Creative Talent Company have garnered Prusan excellent connections and enduring working relationships with casting directors, agents, theater and movie directors, writers, and actors. With her ability to cast a wide net within the industry, and her extensive behind-the-scenes experience discovering and cultivating new talent, she has hit the ground running with the launch of Connecting Talent. Jody Prusan has facilitated prestigious placements for actors in various productions. Broadway Productions include: Evita! Annie and ELF; Regional Theaters: Goodman, Goodspeed, Dallas Theatre Center, North Shore, Maine State and The Public. Clients have appeared in National Commercials, Film, Television and demonstrated community service by singing for the Starlight Children's Foundation Spring Sing. It is her goal to seek out opportunities for her clients that will not only enhance their resumes, but that will challenge them and enable them to hone their skills. With her innate ability to discover new talent at such venues as Tada, Kidz Theater, and Broadway Artists Alliance, and her refreshingly personal approach to developing the actors with whom she works, Prusan offers an invaluableā€”and rareā€”combination of experience, skills, and nurturing to her clients of all ages, helping them shape and define their career path.
